New addition! It's a.....

Hmmm, I just realized after I made the previous post, that I haven't mentioned anything about being pregnant on my blog!!  Sometime I think everyone is on facebook, but that's not true is it?
Well, Kollan and I are super super excited to be having another baby.  We had almost thought that maybe our family was only meant to have 2 kids.  So we are thrilled right now and so excited for the birth of our new baby.............................................................
GIRL!!!  We feel so blessed!

Ty Turns 5!!

 WOW time passes so quickly!
It's hard to believe our little guy is 5 already.
We had celebrated big for Karter's 5th birthday,
so we wanted to do the same for Ty.

We did a party at the Inflatable Fun Gym and it was a blast with 15 friends there!

I loved when they were feeding the play food to the animals.  Cute.

With his birthday crown, looking happy.
Tiki Hut shaved ice- the best!
My hurried 2nd attempt at an angry birds cake (the first one had been made with pregnancy brain and I hadn't included any water in the cake mix!)

Ty's handprint will serve as a memory of this fantastic day.

Lots of great gifts from fun friends!

Ty especially wanted lego kits this year.
He LOVES to put them together all by himself, by following the "constructions"

Oh how we love this sweet, happy, smart, fun boy!!!  He is such a joy to our family and such a cute little stinker.  Along with legos, he also really enjoys playing Super Mario Brothers on the Wii,  pretend games like spies or superheros, board games, drawing, writing, reading, building.  He is really a smarty and loves to use big vocabulary words, even if he doesn't use them right.  I wish I could think of some right now.  I love how he says "perkfect", and last night we all got a laugh when he said we could cook "snores" around the fire.  He makes us laugh daily!  Happy Birthday Ty!

NYC!!

I had a fabulous week in New York getting to spend time with all my in-laws and see 6 week old Adley!

 Isn't she adorable??

It was so fun to tour the city with these ladies!
In order to get to our bus tour from Kirk and Falycia's Staten Island apartment, we had to walk to the bus stop, take the bus, take the Staten Island Ferry....
...which gave us great view of the Statue of Liberty....
Then we took the Subway to Time square where we could finally get our tickets for the tour.
It's such a different lifestyle and was fun to see, but I'm so glad to live where I do.

I love how this tiny old building remains, but was surrounded by huge skyscrapers.
We soon learned that everything would be expensive.  This statue of liberty wanted $5 for a picture!
The Sphere honoring 911 in Battery Park

 The Eternal Flame
Time Square- full of "interesting" people in costumes- like the Naked Cowboy and a crazy old, skinny guy in a bikini (when it got too cold, he added some socks).
Guy Fiori's new restaurant.  Pretty good, but not our favorite.

 Wicked!!!  SO good!

 View of Queens

 Central Park

The views from the Empire State building were even more impressive then I imagined.

Papa came to see Adley too, and we were lucky to be there for her baby blessing!
Our last day, we went into Hoboken NJ to see Carlos Bakery (Cake Boss).
We had to wait for a while but it was fun to see and we got some yummy stuff.

Yum.  I picked a strawberry cheesecake and it was nummy!
It was such a fun and relaxing week.  I loved seeing a new place and spending time with family.  But in the end I was also very happy to get back to all 3 of my boys who I missed!
